Wine Cellar to Movie Theater

Our Home Owner purchased a beautiful home which matched their love for media arts, theatre and olde world elegance. The Harry Potter style furnishings and large wine room, while stylish and extravagant didn't cater to their real passion for motion picture. We were challenged with replacing two 7' wine coolers and a built in 7' x 4' wine rack in deep black, distressed and glazed cabinetry designed an installed in the 90's. Our task was to remove and replace the cabinetry without damaging the countertop and tile backsplash, which they loved; and add theatre style electrical fixtures for synchronized audio systems, mood lighting the latest modern media technology. We had to make the piece look like a piece of furniture while adding storage space for their 1400 piece classic DVD collection.

To make things more complicated, behind the wine cabinetry was the magnificently ornate tiling and plumbing for

the master bathroom. A challenge "not for the faint hearted"!

My highly skilled and infinitely accommodating contractors completed the project perfectly while calming our Home Owner's with their charming and relaxed sense of humor throughout the process.
